From Gregoire to this user: I do believe in gps. I have put navit on the image and made it work though all the right settings are not yet by default in the image. Navit can interface with some USB GPS dongles.

Actually, I think that I would prefer to simply use Google Maps which is better. Do you know a Firefox extension or a GreaseMonkey extension that can show you your location in Google Maps (à la iPhone) - the info would be taken from a USB GPS dongle for instance.
