Unscrew the motherboard and carefully lift it from the USB hub end. Lift only as much as needed to get access to drill without drilling into the motherboard. Do not disconnect anything.

Note by Mrkva: If you're not sure you can stop applying pressure to the drill the very moment you'd better disconnect and remove the board and display. There's a small ribbon cable you can easily damage with drill (and you can scratch the back side of display).

8 mm drill bit did it for me. Use a sharp drill bit at slow speed. Be careful not to break the thin plastic when the drill bit cuts through.
