Personally I like to "own" my data so a fully web hosted OS is not my preferance, but I can see this is going to have a disruptive impact on Netbooks etc.

As such we should also have a presence in this space.

My understanding is that you need to build the sources under Ubunto and then move it to a USB stick (or SD card?)

If anyone could follow this up with some testing (I still do not own a TB) that would be good.

Yeah i would want to try chrome i know ive used te os on a freinds dell and really liked the simple interface it offered

They have some demo code out there for "Intel" type net-books but I have not seen anything that is available for ARM yet (Although it is promised).

We will have to wait until ARM compilable (or cross compilable) code is available, unless some nice person creates boot images for us ;-)

Still it's a project worth watching.....

Yes, this will be an interesting thread to keep an eye on, as Chrome-OS develops. :)
