Battery Gauge for Tablet?

Postby Khorban » Wed Jan 13, 2010 11:31 pm

Just got a TB -- tablet only, no keyboard. It's been interesting to interact with it so far, but the one thing that I'd love to get some help with is the battery indicator. Without the keyboard component, is there currently any way to get an idea about the battery charge? The gauge says "top battery gauge will be enabled in next release," and it shows a constant 0% charge. Any 3rd party solutions out there now?

Thanks for any tips.

If you could paste the following in terminal :
Code: Select all
cat /sys/devices/platform/i2c_omap.1/i2c-adapter/i2c-1/1-004b/twl4030_bci/power_supply/twl4030_bci_battery/voltage_now

The number that is returned seems to be at least close to a real voltage.

That might get you by until the next version...
