I'm kind of expecting that there will be *some* kind of announcement today, since it is the last day of July...

Was hoping to hear something today since it's the last day of July.

I pre-ordered the first week of March, and have had no word since May.

Well, I've gotten replies to inquiries from the company later in the evening (past 10:00 PM - I'm in the Eastern Time Zone), so we may see something in the late evening. The suspense is killing me

Me too Guido. I pre-ordered in the beginning of April.

I am also hoping to hear some news about the shipment status soon, as this is the last day of July. Even if the software is barely operable, if the hardware is together and ready I would enjoy receiving it -- part of my anticipation for this device is being able to contribute to the software and OS development, anyway :)

I understand sometimes manufacturing and shipping details can slow down an operation, especially at the startup scale, but a little more transparency into what is going on would be very much appreciated.

They have to tell us what's happening! RegExp on email to answers us via an automatic system is not very good.. for customers like us who are powerusers.. because i think this touchbook is not for newbies but powerusers who want's an open system ....

I received mine on the 19th.

And a little feedback on the packaging - in the future, you should put a sheet of cardboard or plastic between the magnets. Mine are still stuck together, been trying different ways to get them apart.
