which package provides /usr/bin/install

In order to compile and install mercurial I need the BSD-compatible install tool.
Does anybody know how to find the apropriate package which provides this tool?

I found it myselfs. It is in the package coreutils. Maybye a good hint is to locate the
file searched for in the Debian distributions and then look if it is the package provided
by the angstroem distibution.
