Grégoire Gentil is a serial entrepreneur with five start-ups in fifteen years, he is an innovator at heart with a nothing-is-impossible attitude. Grégoire is currently the founder and CEO of Always Innovating, one of the most innovative design companies in the consumer electronics space with multiple breakthrough innovations. Prior to that, he co-founded Twingo Systems, which was introducing the concept of security by virtualization and was eventually acquired by Cisco Systems. Grégoire graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in France, from Stanford in USA, and is an alumni from McKinsey&Company.

At the head of Always Innovating, Grégoire is leading a high-profile team which has generated many unique concepts and products such as the Touch Book and the Smart Book. Despite a small budget, Always Innovating is producing more unique designs than most of the established players. With his team, Gregoire is also deeply involved in the open source and open hardware communities in order to bring those breakthrough electronics innovations into the hands of the consumers.
Grégoire most recently launched and continues to oversee Zonbu
, the first environmentally-responsible computer designed for consumers. Zonbu hardware was the first computer to get the EPEAT gold rating back in 2006. Additionally, Zonbu software was the first consumer-friendly operating system with a cloud-based storage system - think it like Google ChromeOS but five years ago.
Earlier, he co-founded Twingo Systems
, which was introducing the concept of security by virtualization. This innovation leds to the main security defense mechanisms used by most anti-virus solutions against zero-day attacks. Twingo Systems was acquired by Cisco Systems
in 2004 and the technology was integrated into the main Cisco firewall and router product lines.
Grégoire has broad technical expertise in designing and developing software and hardware solutions, as complex as they need to be. He earned a Master's degree in Math and Physics from Ecole Polytechnique
